Out-Rider - What is it?

This incredible product lifts your unoccupied manual wheelchair, scooter or powerchair from the front door of your pickup truck and stores it in the bed for transport, all at the touch of a button. Simply connect the docking device, push a button on the hand-held pendant, and let your Out-Rider do the heavy lifting for you!

To use this lift, the consumer (end user or attendant)
must be physically able to do the following:


  • Connect/disconnect docking device to mobility device (may require good hand dexterity). This could be done by:
  1. Leaning over from a standing position
  2. Sitting in the vehicle seat and leaning out of vehicle
  3. Sitting on the Stow-Away seat, being supported by the safety arm
  4. Sitting on the Valet™ seat and leaning over
  • Hold down a button on the hand-held pendant to power the wheelchair up, over and down and vice versa
