Most people who purchase a Bruno Out-Sider platform lift also get an optional Swing-Away. The lightweight Swing-Away is an optional attachment that easily rotates the folded Out-Sider away from the vehicle for hassle-free access to the cargo area.
The Out-Sider can be installed on nearly every type of vehicle, including SUVs, trucks, vans and select sedans. Your Bruno dealer will ensure an Out-Sider is compatible with your vehicle’s tongue-weight rating – which determines towing capacity – and mobility device.
Depending on your specific scooter or wheelchair, the Out-Sider holds it in place with a specialized securement device. In addition, a unique securement system makes unintentional lowering of the platform impossible. The Out-Sider meets or exceeds all applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards.
